BAM Infra is currently executing the South West 380 kV West project on behalf of TenneT, which involves the construction of high-voltage pylon foundations. PAXARO is responsible for transforming the 3D model of the reinforcement design into 2D reinforcement drawings using Allplan. The expected delivery date for this project is December 2020.
The South West 380 kV West project involves the Borssele-Rilland high-voltage connection and is carried out by Bam Infra, in addition to the consortium of Mobilis B.V. and Strukton Civiel Projecten B.V. This large-scale project includes the construction of work roads, work sites, and mast foundations for the high-voltage pylons, as well as the cultural restoration of the land after the connection has been commissioned. Construction of the 48-kilometre-long 380-kV connection between the Borssele and Rilland high-voltage substations will commence after the summer.
This new connection is essential for the transmission of electricity from Borssele and serves as a vital link in the connection with Belgium.
