PAXARO Infra Design focuses on designing and engineering infrastructure objects such as bridges, tunnels, viaducts, quay walls, and noise barriers.
Engineering
We have decades of experience in engineering and consulting for multidisciplinary infrastructure projects. Our portfolio includes projects such as the second Coentunnel, Avenue A2, A-Lanes-A15, the Oranjesluizen in Amsterdam, the ‘Martinus Nijhoffbrug’ over the Waal, the bored tunnel ‘Hubertustunnel’ in The Hague, the HSL, the railway tunnel under the Drontermeer, the Gaasperdammertunnel, and the Sea Lock IJmuiden.
We conduct various analyses, including static analysis, strength calculation, and reinforcement calculation, as well as reviews on design reports. We rely on proprietary software, such as SCIA Engineer, in addition to other necessary tools.

Artwork design
Our mission is to design infrastructural works of art that not only serve their functional purpose but also enhance the beauty of the Netherlands. We strive to integrate the construction seamlessly into its environment, optimize the use of space and materials, and promote circular construction principles. Additionally, we ensure a verifiable design process.
We mainly use Revit and Allplan for our 3D design work. With extensive experience in every phase of the design process, from sketch design to implementation design, we are well-equipped to handle any project.
3D Rebar design
A separate specialism that PAXARO carries out in Allplan.
By designing the reinforcement three-dimensionally, clashes come to light much earlier and the reinforcement shape can be better optimized.
In addition, we generate bending schedules from the model, which can be used directly by the bending center.
BIM & Systems Engineering
BIM (Building Information Modeling) and SE (Systems Engineering) are trending topics in the infrastructure industry. Our approach involves designing a logical model that incorporates verifiable objects and links the design to functional requirements. We also employ object-oriented archiving of documents, among other techniques.
Our team at PAXARO includes Systems Engineers and BIM managers who specialize in setting up the right system and implementing the work process. This includes defining functional requirements, creating demand specifications, managing requirements using Relatics, and conducting validation and verification.
